Farms on Martha’s Vineyard are plentiful; there are over 26 farms located on the island. These farms sell fruit, vegetables, pies, eggs, meat and herbs. Two of my favorite are the Native Teaching Farm and Whippoorwill Farm.
Native Teaching Farm is so cool and kid friendly. You can see a wide array of animals walking freely around the farm. You may also buy fresh eggs while you are there. It is a nice place to stop while you meander up-island.
Whippoorwill Farm offers residents and visitors organic, locally-grown produce and flowers at reasonable prices.

Like to cook? The Larrier House offers a large kitchen complete with great equipment allowing visitors to take advantage of the Vineyard’s local fresh food. Take a look at the kitchen on the Larrier House on Facebook.
