MV VOCABULARY LESSON FOR TODAY

There are four basic types of people on Martha’s Vineyard.
§  "Wash-a-Shores" people who come to Martha’s Vineyard and stay.
§  "Summer people" those who vacation on the island in the summer.
§  "Islanders" those born on Martha’s Vineyard. (Note: you can not be an "Islander" even if you have lived on the island for over 40 years.)
§  "Year-rounders" people who live on the island all year – this term may often be used with "Wash-a-Shores."
Do you fit in one of these categories?  Friend the Larrier House on Facebook and let us know which one you are.
