PechaKucha Night on Martha's Vineyard March 21st

PechaKucha Night was devised in Japan in 2003 as an event for young designers to network. It has turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for "chit chat," it rests on a simple presentation format: show 20 images for 20 seconds each. It's a format that makes presentations concise, and keeps things moving at a rapid pace. Reservations are required only if you’d like to present. Call Jessica at 508-627-4441 x117 or e-mail jbarker@mvmuseum.org. 7:30 pm. Harbor View Hotel Menemsha Room: 131 N. Water Street, Edgartown. Free and open to all to watch. Food and drink will be available for purchase from the hotel.
